Journal of Low Power Electronics and Applications Special Issue

Journal of Low Power Electronics and Applications

Extended versions of papers presented at the 2022 PACET conference will be invited for submission to the special issue "Recent Advances on Design of Analog/Digital Circuits for Contemporary Applications" of the Journal of Low Power Electronics and Applications (JLPEA). The selection of the invited papers will be made based on their content and scientific/technical excellence. All invited papers will be published without any JLPEA journal publication cost, provided that it will be accepted for publication after the review process.

Journal of Low Power Electronics and Applications (ISSN 1434-8411, indexed within Scopus, ESCI-Web of Science, Inspec) is an open access journal which provides an advanced forum for rapid dissemination of innovative research and important results in all aspects of low power electronics and design.

Deadline for manuscript submissions: 28 February 2023

Special Issue Information

Electronics for telecommunications is a fundamental and rapidly evolving field of science, that constitutes a basic pillar of scientific, technology, business, and economic development, due to numerous applications accompanying the 5G/6G standards. The 2022 6th Panhellenic Conference on Electronics and Telecommunications (PACET), has gathered researchers of several topics related to electronics design for telecommunications. Specifically, the topics include, but are not limited to, analog/mixed-signal circuits, biomedical circuits and systems, CAD and design tools, communication circuits and systems, microprocessors and memories, digital circuits and systems, digital signal processing, embedded systems, energy harvesting circuits, imaging and image sensors, low-power low-voltage designs, power electronics, RF and wireless circuits and systems, sensory circuits, wearable sensors, non-linear circuits and systems, and memristor circuits and applications.

This issue of Journal of Low Power Electronics and Applications is a Special Issue dedicated to selected papers from the 2022 PACET conference, organized by the University of Peloponnese and held physically on 2–3 December 2022 in Tripolis Greece. Extended versions of papers presented at the conference will be invited for submission to this Special Issue. A selection of the invited papers will be made based on their content and scientific/technical excellence.

Special Issue Information

The research community is currently shifting its attention on developing 5G/6G networks, that are anticipated to introduce a wide range of services relying on extremely high capacity, low latency and Tbps throughput, by including advantages of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence. The emerging 5G/6G networks will eventually explore new concepts by leveraging novel technologies, architectures, and protocols. The proposed special issue aims at bringing together recent advances towards 5G/6G networks and is related to an annual conference organized by Greek Universities, entitled PAnhellenic Conference on Electronics and Telecommunications 2022 conference which will be held in Tripolis Greece, 2-3 Dec 2022.

The topics of the PACET 2022 conference include the following relevant to the special issue topics: Communication circuits and systems, microprocessors and memories, digital circuits and systems, digital signal processing, embedded systems, RF and wireless circuits and systems, sensory circuits and wearable sensors, biomedical circuits, systems and applications, telecommunication systems, software defined radio, digital signal processing, machine learning, wireless channel measurements, 5G/6G systems and simulation, Terahertz communications, internet-of-things, SDN & NFV networks, satellite communication systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, optical wireless communications, network performance evaluation, optical networks and protocols, coding, Information theory.

A short list of ten manuscripts of the highest technical value will be selected by the publication co-chairs for possible publication in the AEÜ - International Journal of Electronics and Communications journal. Selected papers should be extended at least by 35%, including more experimental/simulation results before submitting to journal, and also authors should state in "Acknowledgment" part of their journal paper that "A preliminary version of this work has been published in PACET 2022" and cite therein.
